Add New Project on FCE Home

Only Stakeholder Admin can create new project

Stseps​

  1. First make sure you are on intel network .

  2. Then navigate to fcehome.intel.com.

  3. Now click on “Projects” on the header.

  4. Here, click on “+Add Project” button.

  5. On the screen that appears, fill in the following in “details” section:

    • Project Name- This is a required field. Mention the project name here. Project name must be unique

    • BIM360 Project Name- This is an optional field. User can choose what this new project will be called on BIM360 portal. If you do not know, ignore this field or type project name in bim360 project name field.

    • This is new Parent Project- This checkbox is selected when the new project created is a parent project on its own (follow the steps in green colour below). If the new project being set up is a sub-project for some other project then do not select this checkbox (follow the steps in blue colour below).

If New Parent project checkbox is selected, further follow these steps :

  1. Skin “Parent Project” field and go to “Site”

  2. Select “site” from the dropdown. If site you are looking for does not exist, contact Basesite team by submitting ticket through “Bug” icon on right top corner in fcehome.intel.com.

  3. Then click Save.

If New Parent project checkbox is not selected, further follow these steps:

  1. In “Parent Project” field, select one of the existing projects. Eg: For any new projects in Ireland, “F34 P127x TI” is the Parent project. For any project in Oregon, “RA-D1” is the Parent project. If you are not sure which parent project you should choose, contact Basesite team by submitting ticket through “Bug” icon on right top corner in fcehome.intel.com.

  2. If you have successfully completed the step above this, then select “Site” from the dropdown in the next field. If site you are looking for does not exist, contact Basesite team by submitting ticket through “Bug” icon on right top corner in fcehome.intel.com.

  3. Then click Save.

Once the project has been created in FCEhome (Stakeholders), move on to the next steps to assign companies, and users to the project by following this link.
