1. Introduction
LSPx is a centralized data management application for semiconductor engineering projects to streamline tool installation processes. It addresses key industry challenges by:
- Automating the creation and tracking of Location Specific Packages.
- Centralizing management of tools, points of connections, popouts, and project documentation.
- Eliminating manual data handling and reducing project execution time.
- Supporting comprehensive issue management (Record of Discussion, Change Requests, Design Activities Confirmation). Overall, the application provides a single source of truth, improving traceability, reducing errors, and enhancing stakeholder collaboration across complex engineering projects.
2. First Time Login? Get Started
Are you new to FCELSPx? This guide will show you how to instantly get access to the FCE LSPx application if your company has been approved using Microsoft Single Sign-On for authentication. If your company is not on the approved list on the database, you cannot proceed. In this scenario, please get in touch with your IT Admin team to ensure your company is added to the database. You can access the application on your laptops and outside of the Intel network.
- Start by opening www.fcelspx.intel.com
- If you do not have an account and have completed Microsoft Authentication, you can immediately gain access by completing the Get Started page.
- Select your company, site and the role that reflects your day to day activities. Once completed, click the Submit button.
- Your account will be immediately created and you will be redirected to the homepage which displays the Tool Install Schedule for the site you registered for.
3. Set up User Profile and add Low-Level Roles Access
Access to different sections/features of the FCELSPx application will be granted based on the roles assigned to your profile. Get to your profile page by:
- Clicking on the avatar that shows your initials in the top right corner
- Select "My Profile"
When setting up your account, you can select only one low-level role. If access is required for additional low-level roles, you can configure your profile under the “My Profile” selection of the application.
3.1. Low Level Roles Access
Configuring your user profile allows you to control the low-level roles you have access to on a site. By following the steps below, you can remove yourself from obsolete roles and add new ones without waiting for approval:
- Navigate to “My Profile” Page: From anywhere in the FCELSPx application you can access your profile by clicking the avatar in the top right menu bar. On your profile page, you can see your name, company, email address, and phone number on the top left side.
- Add low-level roles to your profile: On the bottom left side of the page, you can see the Site Roles section where the roles you currently have on the site are displayed. You can remove the obsolete roles by clicking on the delete button next to that role. Click on the Add Role button to add additional low-level roles to your profile on your own without any additional approvals.
The low-level roles list that appear for you in the roles list depends on the company you work for. If you belong to an AE Company, AE low-level roles will appear. For trade company users, Trade low-level roles will appear.
3.2. High Level Roles Access
High level roles access need approval from administrators, which are considered high-level roles. Access to the high-level roles such as the Stakeholder, AE or Trade Admin must be granted by another administrator. Reach out to one of your company’s or the site-level administrators for the high-level roles access. Administrators can grant high-level roles to their company users from the Profile page or using FCEHome (Stakeholder) Application. For any additional queries, contact the LSPx Support team.
