Submission of the SDDs has been discontinued in FCEConnect on Friday, November 1st, 2024. From this date, all SDD in FCEConnect will be in READ-ONLY mode. SDD submission must be completed in the LSPx application from Wednesday, November 06, 2024
What is the URL for accessing the FCELSPx application?
The URL to access FCELSPx application is: fcelspx.intel.com
Can I access FCELSPx on my company's laptop?
Using INTEL and NON-Intel emails, you can now access the FCELSPx application outside the Intel Network. First-time users can register their account by completing the Microsoft Authentication.
Who can create/submit SDD Tickets?
SDD tickets are typically created by AE Users. However, TI Design Managers can also create an SDD.
How do I create/submit a new SDD in the LSPx application?
- Log in to the LSPx application as an AE user or a TI Design Manager.
- Click on the Create dropdown on the homepage and select the SDD option from the dropdown menu.
- Fill in the required fields in the SDD form and submit the SDD ticket.

What fields are mandatory on the SDD form?
The following fields are mandatory on the SDD form and are marked with an asterisk (*). Users cannot submit an SDD ticket without completing these fields:
- Summary
- Affects
- Process
- RP Package
- Assignee
- Type
- Discipline
- Problem Statement
- Impacted Site
- RP Update Required?
What happens after I submit the SDD Ticket?
The submitted SDD gets created and is initially with the RP AE team, who then send it to the LSP AE users following the workflow as displayed on the User Guide. Once the SDD is back with the LSP AE users, the LSP AE team users can either Close or Request More Information.
Why don't I see the SDD option under the Create dropdown menu on the LSPx homepage?
SDDs can only be raised by AE users and TI DMs. You must have one of these roles assigned to see the SDD option under the Create dropdown.
Why don't I see the SDDs button on the LSPx homepage?
Users with View access to SDDs will only see this button on the LSPx homepage. Only the AE users, TO, TI PM, TI DMs, and ACs have access to the SDD tab on LSPx.
Who can edit the SDD tickets?
Only the RP AE Users and TI Design Managers (DM) have permission to edit or update SDD tickets.
Who will get notified about the SDDs? And when will they get notified?
Email notifications will be sent to users when an SDD ticket is created, transitioned, closed, or when a user is tagged in a comment. All users on the People Tile are notified of any transition change to the SDD via email, and mentions to anyone on the SDD are only sent to the user being tagged in the comment.
What can I expect to see in the email notifications?
The email notifications will contain core information about the tool. You will need to click on the "View SDD" button in the email to view the SDD ticket.
Can I notify other users that are not directly involved in the SDD?
You can include any active LSPx user on the site to view and receive notifications about the SDD. Simply search for their name under the "Watchers" field.
How can I tag a user on the SDD ticket?
In the comments section of the SDD ticket, type the "@" symbol followed by the person's name to tag someone. They will receive an email notification containing your comments.
Can I delete the SDD ticket I submitted?
No, SDDs cannot be deleted once they have been created.
Can I add comments to the closed SDD ticket?
Today, Yes. But going forward, with the next release in mid-November 2024, no actions can be taken (e.g., editing, adding comments, etc.) by any user once an SDD is closed. Once closed, the SDD will switch to read-only mode.
Is there a record of who made changes on the SDD?
Yes, visit the SDD History tab under the Activity section of an SDD ticket to view the user who made changes to the ticket.
How does this migration of SDDs from FCEConnect to LSPx impact us?
All the Historical SDDs have been migrated into LSPx, and the ones that were still in flight when the system got migrated will now be actionable in LSPx but with the new workflow.
What happens to my existing SDDs in FCEConnect?
All SDDs will be migrated to LSPx as part of the migration on Wednesday, November 06, 2024. Users will be able to search for and access them from the SDD landing page in LSPx starting from November 06, 2024.
